As the 2024 enrollment season comes to a close, Emerge is proud to reflect on another remarkable year in recruiting and placing licensed agents for the country’s leading carriers and marketplaces. Record-Breaking Placements
In 2024, Emerge successfully placed nearly 800 licensed producers across the nation with carrier and marketplace partners for P & C, Life and Health lines across the country. What truly sets our recruiting program apart is its outstanding retention rate—boasting over 80% retention across all programs for both sales and service agent positions.
Highlights from 2024
March: Scaling for the Nation’s Leading Medicare Marketplace
Our Customer Practice was retained to fill 275 licensed agents for the country’s leading Medicare marketplace. Not only did we fulfill this initial commitment, but in response to an unexpected surge in staffing needs in September, we went above and beyond to hire an additional 75 agents. By adapting quickly and leveraging our deep talent pool, we ensured our client’s operational goals were met seamlessly. Having partnered with this marketplace for years, we were able to absorb the increase without requiring additional labor as our team was able to assist to drive onboarding, licensing, and contracting. As their AEP season wraps, we have come to learn that the 2024 season is the highest rate of conversion in a decade for the publicly traded entity.
August to October: Agile Hiring for ACA Regulatory Changes
Heading into the enrollment season, Emerge was retained to fill 250 licensed agents for the nation’s leading ACA marketplace. This project was unique in its challenges—our client had to swiftly re-strategize their hiring process due to sudden and sweeping changes in CMS regulations. Emerge not only met these challenges head-on but exceeded expectations by selecting, hiring, and onboarding the required talent within the tight timeframe. Our client realized over 500 hours of saved manpower as we were able to step into support onboarding, licensing, and contracting. As we move into 2025, Emerge will serve as our clients’ outsourced recruitment and onboarding partner across their entire enterprise.
Looking Ahead to 2025
The exceptional outcomes achieved in 2024 have us carrying significant momentum into the upcoming year. We are thrilled to continue our retained partnerships while working with new and growing insurance leaders nationwide to build talent acquisition programs that align to each environment’s unique approach to the market. Our agent hiring process has been honed to cater to each employer’s proposition and has proven to improve outcomes by leveraging a growing audience of producers and a trusted onboarding, licensing and contracting process.
Over our 8-year span, Emerge has placed thousands of producers. Over that same time, we have expanded our partnership to include the entire distribution network. We have worked alongside brokerages and carriers alike, to adapt to their unique set of challenges and existing capabilities. There is no need too small, nor too great, that our team has not delivered on in the space. As we move into 2025, we are building new and innovative approaches to Agent hiring and retention. We are excited to provide our clients with ‘Ready to Sell’ Agents, free of existing appointments with a proven sales and service record. We know 2025 presents a challenging time in distribution and we stand at the ready to provide solutions that meet those challenges head on!
